NTPC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
FOR
SCHEDULED CASTE / SCHEDULED TRIBE / PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED STUDENTS
PURSUING
FULL TIME ENGINEERING DEGREE COURSE
NTPC scholarship shall be awarded to the students pursuing full
time degree course in engineering in the discipline of Electrical,
Mechanical, Instrumentation, Computer Science and Electronics / Telecommunications
in any of the institutions recognized by the Govt. from the second year of full
time course within the prescribed period.
The number of NTPC scholarship Scheme in various disciplines of
engineering will be decided by the management from time to time. At present
the total number of scholarships for graduate-engineering students is 35
{20 - SC, 10-ST, 5 - PC (1-VH, 1-HH, 3-OH)}.
Value and Duration of NTPC Scholarship
The amount of scholarship is Rs. 1500/- per month. The scholarship shall be
paid for all 12 months in a year for the entire period of the course except
first year as per the procedure mentioned hereinafter
