Indicorps Fellowship projects
Indicorps fellows are highly-qualified, resourceful, and inspiring individuals
capable of working independently on unique public service projects in India.
To be an Indicorps fellow means to represent a brand of young people known
for their quality of work, commitment to performance, integrity, problem-solving
abilities, perseverance, and broad perspective in local interventions.
Indicorps and/or your local host organization will provide basic housing, food,
and travel costs related to your fellowship project. However, in many cases,
provisions will be in the form of receipt-based reimbursements. You will also
receive a small monthly stipend to cover local travel expenses, phone calls to
Indicorps, etc. You will need your own money for personal expenses, internet cafes,
phone calls to family and friends, snacks / outside meals, incidentals,
medical expenses, emergencies, and the like.
For the 2011 2012 fellowship year (as per Government of India's definition),
Indicorps will accept applications from qualified persons of Indian origin who
have a university degree or five years of applicable work experience from anywhere
in the world.

Indicorps Fellowship 2011 2012 may conduct multiple interviews, contact references, coordinate face-to-face meetings
with alumni, and request additional materials during the application process. In some cases,
at the suggestion of the evaluation committee, Indicorps may ask a candidate to consider
changing his/her project preferences (and file an additional project application, if not
already submitted). Ultimately, applicants will only be evaluated for projects in
which they overtly express interest.
