Indian Institute Of Geomagnetism Research Fellowships IIG Post-Doctoral Fellowship
IIG offers Post-Doctoral Fellowship to research scientists who have obtained
a Ph. D. degree in any of the research areas being pursued at the institute.
The Fellowship, given initially for one year, may be extended upto a maximum period
of two years. The monthly fellowship, at present for SRF/RA-I/RA-II/RA-III is
a consolidated amount of Rs. 14000/Rs. 16000/Rs.17000/Rs. 18000/-, respectively.
Selection Procedure for Geomagnetism Post Doctoral Research Fellowships
Indian Institute Of Geomagnetism Research Fellowships are provided to candidates
who have enrolled themselves in any one of the various research programs at the
Indian Institute Of Geomagnetism. Selections to the doctoral programs are made on
the basis of a written test at the Institute in Mumbai followed by personal interview.
Application Procedure for Indian Institute Of Geomagnetism Research Fellowship
For application to the Indian Institute Of Geomagnetism Research Fellowship,
candidates are required to apply on plain paper giving name, age, address and
detailed academic record (10th Standard onwards) along with subject, percentage,
university and year of passing, and attested copies of certificates / degrees,
so as to reach the Registrar within one month of the publication of the advertisement.
To and from second-class train fare by the shortest route will be paid to outstation
candidates for attending the test / interview.
